As much as I love my Electronic Dance Music, there is a lot more out there! The Living Satellites, a trio pop-rock band from Toronto consisting of Jake Barnes, Justin Ferrara and Alex 'Chops' Kalb released their first full length album under SFA Records and it displays some serious talent. The production on this album is basically flawless and their sound is very unique. Influences for the band include Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Beatles just to name a few. Their first single "Diamonds and Pearls", in my opinion brings a fresh new sound to the pop-rock scene. It's definitely catchy and shows a lot of progress in their talent from previous releases.
