Justin Timberlake - Suit & Tie Featuring Jay-Z

After six and a half years without new music from international pop star Justin Timberlake, he is finally back with 'Suit & Tie', a new single featuring Jay-Z and produced by Timbaland. Definitely worth the wait, with a catchy chorus and a great verse from Jay. Not your typical track to find on Social Talk, however, worth a listen for the sheer music quality.I'm glad that Timberlake has stuck to his original sound and hasn't follwed the main stream. Not everything has to be about a crazy fist-pump.  I'm excited for what is to come from Timberlake's newest album, 'The 20/20 Experience', set to be released in 2013. Enjoy!

Deniz Koyu feat. Wynter Gordon - Follow You

I have legitimately fallen in love with this track. Every time it comes onto my iPod or iTunes, I can’t help but get really excited. I find myself singing along with the vocal line both when it’s playing and when I’m not listening to any music. Such a great house track for sure! Though it isn’t a new song, I found it again and have become truly obsessed!

Dada Life - So Young So High + Remixes

I've always been a huge fan of the original track, 'So Young So High' by Dada Life off their album 'The Rules of Dada' (listen below) and now the boys are set to release some remixes for the track. The first one, by Andybody, an unknown artist coming from DadaLand brings a bangin' electro house mix that proves some serious talent (full song and download below). Also, Dillon Francis is remixing the song and you can check out that preview below. It seems to be getting a lot of mixed feedback, but I'm liking what I'm hearing so far!

Adele - Skyfall (Charlie Darker Remix) (FREE Download)

I'm almost sad that I've just learned about this amazing remix to a song I love by Adele, Skyfall. Charlie Darker has killed this mix, and in the best way possible! He is just shy of 10,000 fans on Facebook (like him here), and I believe that he will be a huge rising force in the 2013 EDM scene. Darker also dropped an original as a free download recently, so be sure to check that out on his SoundCloud page.

Skrillex - Leaving EP

  

Skrillex is back with his "Leaving EP" and after listening to it over the last few days, I must admit, I'm still a huge Skrillex fan! The 3 song EP doesn't just stick to one sound, it is all over the place and incorporates a lot of new material. I especially like the track 'Scary Bolly Dub', which resurrects a few of the sounds and rifts from Skrillex's previous material! Also on the EP is, 'Leaving'. This track contains a very new sound for Skrillex and although it is getting a lot of hate, I love it. Skrillex is progressing with the music industry and realizing it's not all about the flashy drops. You can check out the EP in full, below. Comment with what you think about it!

Caravan Palace & DeFunk - Rock It For Me (Ted Hunter Remix)

I am really stoked that Ted Hunter has finally released another remix and this time around he brings a totally new sound that shows huge progression in his work. "Rock It For Me", original by Caravan Palace & DeFunk, gets the Hunter treatment, infused with the perfect amount of wobble and glitch! This is definitely a track I will be bumping non-stop in the near future. Check it out below! Dzeko & Torres - 2012 in 10 Minutes

Toronto based EMD Producers/DJs Dzeko and Torres released a brilliant mix yesterday called "2012 in 10 Minutes". This mix literally features the biggest bangers of the EDM genre from 2012, containing a few of our favourites as well (Top 10 Songs of 2012). As the year has come to an end it is very clear that 2012 saw some spectacular releases from a wide range of talent. This mix gets me stoked for what is to come in 2013 for the EDM scene.
