Music to Compliment Your Studying: Top 5 Breakdown

Whether you're here till the 21st, or the 30th, you're going to need to study, which means, you're going to need some music to keep you from going clinically insane. Fortunately, you have me for that. The next five songs are probably going to be your saving grace over the next few weeks. Listen to them and love them.

Number 5) The Drifter (Original Mix)- Child in Disguise- If I need a song to motivate myself to get my shit together and start working, I always put on The Drifter. It has a great steady beat for reading to, and is perfect for putting on replay as a constant unreal jam.

Number 4) Breathe- Ted Hunter- Ted Hunter’s song Breathe was voted top 5 in The First 15 Contest, and is definitely worth listening to, especially while studying. The piano in it is absolutely incredible, and knowing a Western student produced this makes it all the sweeter.

Number 3) Rio de Janeiro- Maison and Dragen- Rio de Janeiro exemplifies all the sounds that are paradise to me, which reminds me that I go to Europe as soon as I get past these exams. Hopefully it gives you the same kind of reminder for summer as it does for me?

Number 2) Marsch Marsch- Thomas Gold – The snare line in this reminds me that I was always shit at drums in band, triangle was more my forte, and I should probably let the pros do it up right, as Thomas Gold definitely does in Marsch Marsch.

Number 1) Simple Things- Foyle & Zo.- 362 plays on my iTunes.  Clearly, I love this song. There’s something about the way the song flows that gives me an immense amount of relaxation. No need for Adderall, when you have Simple Things.

You're probably mind blown by how much work you got done while listening to those, aren't you? I knew it. It doesn't matter if  you study in Weldon, Taylor, your bedroom or as my best friend does, the floor. Plug it in, turn it up and get shit done. Mama's advice was always the best, "stay in school, you get smarter".. Thanks tips.

Study your heart out bitches.

xx,
K
