MONSTA - Holdin On (Skrillex and Nero Remix)

Definitely not a new track by any means, however, if you have yet to hear it, I highly recommend checking this one out. MONSTA, a trio of like-minded individuals came together within the last year and were immediately recognized by some of the biggest names in EDM. It was Sonny Moore (Skrillex) who signed them to his indie label, OWSLA, and the rest as they say, is history. Check out a remix of their breakthrough hit, "Holdin On" by Skrillex and Nero!

Techno Savvy 1.0: Switch Bass - Future Beat EP

Slowly but surely I've been making my way into the Techno scene and I'm so happy I've discovered Switch Bass. You may not have heard of him yet, however, his first release off Gold N' Tech Records, a two song EP called "Future Beat" is sounding great. Something different to mix things up a bit. I thought this two song EP would be perfect for our newest weekly feature: Techno Savvy. The EP comes out officially on December 27, but check it out below off of his SoundCloud for now. I personally really liked "Future Beat". The vibe was dope! Also, check out Switch Bass' "Summertime Tech House Mix", from 2012. Enjoy!

Ellie Goulding - Anything Could Happen (Flinch Remix)

This track was passed along to me last night and right when I saw that it was a dub remix by Flinch I was so excited to hear what he had in store for us! The original is a masterpiece on its own, however, this remix gives it that extra kick. Ellie's divine vocals pair up perfectly with Flinch's style and the two are an unbeatable combination. This is Love (Afrojack Remix) – Will.I.Am feat Eva Simons

This song is perfect for a 5 minute and 16 second study break to help you get through these next few weeks of finals! Not only that, but since he’ll be in Toronto on December 14^th, I thought it was pretty legit to showcase one of his newest remixes. The beat is catchy, fun and upbeat and since the original is also amazing, it’s such an ideal match!

Daily Dirty Dub 51.0 - The Veronicas - Lolita (PatrickReza Dubstep Remix)

Dubstep producer/DJ PartickReza released his remix to The Veronicas "Lolita" less than 24 hours ago and I've had it on repeat ever since. The Australian duo released the single this past summer coming from their forthcoming album, "Life on Mars",  and while it already features elements of electro/dance, I love this dubstep remix. It reminds me of the type of dub I'd hear back in 2009. Nice drops, filthy bass line and a lot of wobble.

Calvin Harris - Drinking From The Bottle feat. Tinie Tempah

Tinie Tempah teamed up with Calvin Harris to provide the vocals on Harris' latest single, "Drinking From The Bottle". The song has been passed around the internet for a while now, however, I thought I would provide you with the official version accompanied by a pretty cool lyric video.  The track provides a great beat along with catchy lyrics that will be perfect for the club. I am a fan of this tune, although, I must admit a lot of Calvin's latest work as been sounding increasingly similar. Having Tempah featured on the track changed it up and I did enjoy this, however, I would really love to hear the man himeself, Calvin Harris, providing vocals on his own tracks!
