West London duo 16Bit are two of the most respected electronic producers working today. Their sound is influenced as much by techno and electro as well as dub and jungle, with huge distorted riffs and juggernaut bass underpinned by crunching drums and mind-melting sonic engineering. Renowned by DJ's and fans worldwide, the duo's recently signed to MTA Records, home to the of likes of NERO and Chase & Status and collaborated with superstar Björk on her upcoming album.

Bursting onto the scene with massive tunes like Chainsaw Calligraphy, In the Death Cab, Toxic and their now infamous 'Milky Pie' mixtape, the duo scored massive accolades from BBC Radio DJ's Mary Anne Hobbs and Kissy Sell-Out and support from the scene's biggest DJs.

Remixes for the likes of Chase & Status, Amon Tobin, Borgore, Plan B, Professor Green and Noisia’s huge tune Machine Gun have continued to raise their profile with DJ's and fans alike, having their tune JUMP! used in a massive Nike commercial and even scoring their own video-game for the Nintendo Wii.

But these two are no studio wallflowers: 16bit are at home on stage, enjoying themselves as much as the crowd they’re playing to. Journeying through all styles of music with elegance, their sets will go from sending the audience into a frenzy one moment to the most emotional moment the next, their sets are nothing short of epic, as proved last time at BASSMENTALITY.

Guaranteed to bring down the house with the heaviest new exclusives and original tracks, these two madmen are not to be missed!

Introducing: Knife Party!

Had the chance to listen to this mix from Knife Party last night after a friend introduced them to me and I must say, I loved what I heard!

Gareth McGrillen and Rob Swollen of Pendulum (drum and bass) have teamed up to create a side project entitled Knife Party! The new project for the two is said to have nothing to do with Pendulum and will mainly consist of Electro House and other club genres. Pendulum originally formed in 2002 and has since created quite the following. It's very evident that these two have been in the business with Pendulum since 2002, and I can't wait to hear what else they have in store for us!

Check out the 23 minute long studio mix from Knife Party at Space Ibiza 2011. The mix features live brand new tracks that have never been heard before.

Also, check out Save The World by Swedish House Mafia (Knife Party Remix) below.
This song is out of control!

Have a great weekend and enjoy!

MANSION x Social Talk proudly presents...

HAPPY ENDINGS #006 // LOL BOYS (LA/MTL) x 85.85 (LIVE) x SCOTT SEEWHALE
Saturday, August 13th, 2011 @ Forestview Chinese Restaurant

Trust me when I tell you, this is a party you do not want to miss! The last few Happy Endings have proven to be unreal parties with bumping music and an amazing crowd! Be sure to check out the last Happy Endings of the summer this Saturday!
Cheap drinks, great music, an unreal vibe!

LOL BOYS (DISCOBELLE, PALMS OUT SOUNDS, LA/MTL)
http://soundcloud.com/lolboys

The forward-thinking producers are fueled by equal parts shuffling tropical percussion, romantic synths, pitch-shifter vocals, and a hearty dose of booming bass. LOL Boys, along with a growing number of new school producers, are encroaching on uncharted sounds in today's dance music scene: a fair bit of latin beats, a lot of house, and an inability to name exactly what it all might be. These two producers hold down nights in their respective homes, bringing innovative artists through Footworkin' in Montreal and Mega in L.A.
