Porter Robinson, Have You Heard of Him?

Porter Robinson. Have you heard of him? Well here he is. Check out his massive original mix Say My Name. I have this song on repeat. Hailing from North Carolina, 18-year-old Porter Robinson had never set foot in a club when his smash hit Say My Name shot to number one on Beatport's Electro-House Chart. Also, check out his remix to Tim Berg’s Seek Bromance. That song is #legit!

A VERY Sexy Video feat. music by Zeds Dead!

In this video, Ode to 2011 NSFW (Not Safe for Work), Zeds Dead remix to Massive Attack (Paradise Circus) is featured as the background music. The Zeds Dead Duo are two of my favourite DJs and this song is sick! Its safe to say that along with a banger of a track comes an extremely sexy video. And when I say sexy, I mean sexy. If you are not over the age of 18, do not continue on past this point. Like the page below to share it with your friends.

Beautiful People- Chris Brown

Not a very typical artist for me to post on Social Talk, however, after a few listens of Chris Brown's Beautiful People, I have started to really enjoy this song. The song is co-written and produced by Benny Benassi, which explains the liking towards the song. Chris has been quoted stating "it wasn't a selfish record, it wasn't me bragging or boasting or talking about cars or money or girls. It was me being able to inspire people with dance music. We have a lot of tragic things going on and the world needs to come together as a whole and stop the negativity.” It isn’t a typical Brown hip-hop/R&B song, as it is an electro house song that incorporates elements of europop. Check it out below!

Have a great week,

Dada Life- Hello Remix

John Legend - Rolling in the Deep (Adele Cover)

I've always been a fan of a cappella style music and John Legend has done a very compelling and different version of Adele's Rolling in the Deep. Check it out and let me know what you think below in the comment section.

Limitless... Imagine?

You know how they say that we can only access 20% of our brains? Well imagine being able to access 100% of your brain.... becoming literally Limitless. Last night I went to got see the film Limitless, a 2011 American techno-thriller film based on the 2001 novel The Dark Fields by Alan Glynn. The screenplay was written by Leslie Dixon and the film was directed by Neil Burger and stars Bradley CooperAbbie Cornish, and Robert De Niro. The film was released in the United States and Canada on March 18, 2011.

Synopsis: Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) is a writer who lives in New York City and has recently been dumped by his girlfriend Lindy (Abbie Cornish) in addition to failing to meet the deadline to turn in his new book, which he hasn't written yet. One day, Eddie comes across Vernon Gant (Johnny Whitworth), the brother of his ex-wife Melissa Gant (Anna Friel). Vernon is a drug dealer who offers Eddie a sample of a new drug, NZT-48. Eddie accepts and, much to his surprise, the drug increases his intelligence and improves his focus.

The film has received decent reviews from critics and I must say, I liked it myself. Although at times a bit unrealistic (well, all of it), the films fast pace kept me intrigued. I was captivated by Bradley Cooper's believable and at times amusing performance that made this thechno-triller unexpectedly funny. Check out the preview below for yourself and see if it interests you.

Have a good weekend!

Charlie Sheen is Crazy!

'

Here is the latest episode of Sheen's Korner: Torpedoes of Truth Part 2. Sheen is now 3 episodes into this new venture and the crazy keeps getting crazier! Sheen is quoted saying "If you own the home in which you own the trashcan,  you should never have to empty it ever, ever, ever again." Hmm, seems a bit a lot wishy-washy to me.
